Cordong-I(Preserving Privacy COVID-19 Contact Tracing App)

The Cordong-I app is the first public service to which homomorphic encryption technology is applied. Through the Cordong-I app, users can check whether they have contacted a Coronavirus confirmed person without exposing their location information. In 2021, Gyeonggi-do/Statistics Agency(‘21.02) and Seoul National University(‘21.07)/Inha University(‘21.10) officially adopted Cordong-I.

If you are COVID positive, you can easily participate in digital quarantine that saves time and cost of epidemiological investigation through “Donate route” function.

Licensing the homomorphic encryption library HEaaN Library to IBM

IBM has installed and launched CryptoLab’s HEaaN Library in HElayers, a homomorphic encryption-based AI analysis software. HElayers is a tool that makes it easy for data analysts and application developers in the AI industry to utilize homomorphic encryption technology without any knowledge.

Privacy Preserving Training

Data learning without exposing personal information – CryptoLab has shown that data learning is possible in an encrypted state. Privacy Preserving Voting/Survey

You can show your opinion with perfect anonymity. CryptoLab, together with KONA I, developed a voting/survey service that guarantees the anonymity and confidentiality of voting by applying homomorphic encryption. The contents are encrypted so that no one can see it, but it can be aggregated with homogeneous encryption technology.


Quantum-Ready Communication

CryptoLab’s PQC Toolkit enables secure communication with quantum computers. CryptoLab applied the PQC toolkit together with LG U+ to test data transmission service with Post-Quantum Cryptography for the first time in Korea.

In December 2019, a business agreement was signed for PQC technology development, and in 2021, a PQC algorithm research and joint development agreement was signed. In April 2022, LG U+ introduced PQC applied line service developed in cooperation with CryptoLab and Coweaver.

CryptoLab is also working with LG Electronics and LG U+ to apply Post-Quantum Cryptography to transmission equipment.

Beomdong-I(Criminal Contact Tracing App) – scheduled to be released

Beomdong-I(Criminal route tracker) is a service that calculates the distance from the perpetrator after encrypting the location information of the person to be protected with homomorphic encryption technology.
